Colt Crawford’s Locker Room
The arena is empty and outside of the locker room you can hear nothing, but silence. Inside the locker room is another bunch of sounds, some sounds and words the TWD audience would rather not hear. As we dangerously enter the room we are almost struck by a chair flying at the door. Colt has a look of anger, jealously, and pain, all a while wearing a crimson mask.
Colt: Clark and his genius ideas, a tag team forming with Saber. I would have rather him put a dead man out there instead of Saber. I should just screw Clark and Saber and not show up to team with that puppet. What is the worse that Clark could do…damn he has my contract.
Colt takes a seat on the bench in the locker room and puts his head in his hands facing the ground. He motions the camera crew out of the room, but before we could turn around to exit the door flies open and Clark stands in the doorway…Britney Clark.
Colt: What the hell are you doing in my locker room?
Britney: Brian sent me to check on you, basically to see what mental condition you are in. From a look of this locker room I would say that you are handling the new pretty well.
Colt: Sleep around has a sense of humor I see. If it isn’t obvious I am not the least bit happy with what Brian has done. What is he thinking? Britney, shine some light on the situation for me.
Britney: Colt, first off you’re an asshole. Second I don’t know if I can give you the answers you are looking for when it comes to what Brian was thinking. He has done nothing, but praise the two of you the last couple of months and talking about how you guys would make the ultimate alliance and rule the TWD in the future. I told him not to force the issue of you two, but you know he doesn’t listen. He felt that it was his only way to make you two realize what is best for you.
Colt: The part I don’t get is that he claims that both of us were in line to go for the Enforcer title, which would be the first step I need to get to the World Title. Now he has us in a tag division where we have to start from scratch and fight to get a tag title shot, and I have to do that with a man I completely hate.
Britney: It may not mean much to you, but you are completely wrong about one thing. You and Saber won’t be clawing your way to the top to get a tag title shot. Your team has already been entered into the Tag Team Turmoil match at Supercard II.
Colt: Not a huge reward, every team is able to compete in that match. Hell people without real tag partners can partake in that match.
Britney: The question will be whether or not you two will enter as the tag champions or as challengers. Brian convinced the Moderators to give you and Saber a tag title match at the next Showdown.
Colt: My next match will be for the tag team titles, I could realistically be the new tag team champion. I like the sound of that.
Britney: You and Saber the next tag team champions….
Colt: I don’t necessarily like the sound of that though.
Silence now enters the room. Colt stands up and grabs his bag from behind the bench. He heads towards the door and stops in front of Britney.
Britney: Brian is going to want to know when you are coming to the Warehouse to train.
Colt: You can tell him I won’t be. I will be training on my own this week back home. I needed an opportunity to go back and clean up some things, and this gives me the reason to do it.
Britney: Something tells me he will be expecting that. I also know that he will want some one to track you and make sure you are doing what is necessary.
Colt: Figured as much, but I know he won’t take the time out to do it. I also know he won’t trust Rainmaker or Punisher to do it, so unless he opens up his wallet he will probably be asking you to do it.
Britney: Your probably right, looks like I will be seeing a lot of you in the coming week then.
Colt: I couldn’t be happier. Maybe we can even do dinner a couple nights, wouldn’t that just be a blast.
Britney: Don’t hold you breathe for that one.
Colt: Didn’t plan on it
Colts walks out of the locker room as Britney turns and watches him leave.

Lexington High School Weight Room, 7:00 am
Colt has lived up to his promise and has returned home for the time being. He has also seemed to live up to his promise to continue to train as he is hard at work on the different machines in the school’s weight room. The weight room is nothing spectacular, but it does have all the typical workout equipment, and much to our surprise there is door on one side of the weight room labeled Wrestling Room. However, what surprises us is a plague underneath with the schools former wrestling State Champion engraved into it, and we see Colt Crawford’s name engraved three times.
As we turn out attention back to Colt he is sitting on the edge of the weight bench taking a drink out of his water bottle, we can only assume the million things running through his mind.
Feels good to be home, and away from the hassle
This place hasn’t changed much in the last few years
It could use some equipment upgrades
Maybe I can purchase some for them
That would mean I actually would make enough money to do that
Of course being a champion means more money
Which I now have an opportunity to become
The question is at what cost, and with what chump
What is Clark thinking
Does he not realize that you can not mix oil and water
That mixing Saber and I could be dangerous
Extremely dangerous
But to who
Neither of us is dumb enough to attack each other and intentionally lose the match
So our frustration and anger will have to be focused else where
Focused on our opponents
That sounds crazy
Crazy enough that it might actually work
I hate Clark and Saber, and I hate the idea
But it might just work
That damn idea might work
Colt lies back down on the bench and continues the reps he was working on as we leave him to his workout. As we are leaving the school we are surprised to see a woman standing on a step stool outside of the weight room window. We quickly realize it is Britney Clark keeping her promise to keep a tab on Colt while he is away. She pulls out her iPhone and dials up some one as we listen in.
Britney: Don’t yell at me for waking you up. Just because you don’t have your two star students there this week doesn’t mean you should be sleeping late…I am doing as you asked and reporting on Colt…Yes he is working out already…I told you he would, didn’t expect this early but to each his own…The equipment will work well enough for him to be ready…your ridiculous Brian…part of me wants to just leave town now and let Colt have this time to himself…yea the part of me that won’t wants to know what really makes this kid tick…we will see what kind of mood I am in whether I check in or not…eat me….asshole.
She puts the phone back in her pocket and steps back up on her stool and turns to look in the window, but is scared by Colt’s face on the other side of the window staring back at her. The surprise causes Britney to fall on the ground and seemingly bang her head of the concrete. She grabs her head and then suddenly realizes that some one has come to check on her...Colt.
