I just updated the Monthly Calender on the Main Site and it made me wonder if everyone would like to take a break during this time. It's customary in most feds to do so, since roleplaying and seg production is normally abismal during this time.
Just thought I'd run it by you kids.

Well perhaps a year in review show type of deal would be cool if people and yourself were willing to put it all together. However aside from that yeah I doubt it would be very active during that time.

maybe a half year show with some minor segments just to further some angles along? I see nothing wrong with skipping a showdown or two during Dec/Jan

I say we make it a random RPing period and not any serious matches, however, if Boss Man needs a break then I say we can just shut down for a little bit as well.

I think if people's schedules are thrown off a break is probably best. Maybe do a "christmas show" or something that has summarized matches and angles from whoever's bothered. I think Rob actually deserves a break. I wouldn't mind putting together some kind of Christmas (not Christmas Day, around that time) show to fill in a gap.

I am good either way, although if I had to chose I would say don't close it. Maybe do some small show or maybe have something with another fed and let the operators of those feds work together to put out one show for all the feds. Maybe something typical like Smackdown vs Raw where the best of the feds (or those that want to be involved) meet up against the other feds.
Then again, that is just me thinking out loud. I will go along with whatever is decided.

Given that the cards are fortnightly, TWD would only have to miss one show over that Christmas stretch.

I don't think it's fair for anyone to be given a "break" if Rob isn't given one. It should be all inclusive. The fed takes a break or nobody takes a break. A lot of times, "review" shows are much harder to throw together than regular shows because of the "review" that has to take place.
Revote maggots. Break or no break.

For the record.. my family is in NY. Damn near everyone. I'll be sitting around here on my ass during the holidays. I may end up like going to my grandma's house, but thats a few hours away, just for dinner. Other than that.. I don't have anything going on. It's not a bother to me. I was just curious to see if everyone else wanted the show. I'm not going to have a show and then get 8 PMs and emails saying sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry for no rps or segs.

If enough people want some kind of show, then I suggest maybe a "year in review" type of deal. That way you nobody has to send in strats or rps and we just take the highlights from the past year.
However I do agree with Pat that Rob should get a break as well. He puts more work in than anybody else. He gives up his freetime on Sundays just to write the show and I am sure that is no walk in the park.
Now if Rob wants to do the year in review show, he could start on it now and get it done, that way when it is Christmas time, it can just be posted. I ain't saying that it should be a priority over other shows, but just a little bit here and there.
