Just don't know if I can get with the whole remake of Clash Of The Titans. Some things are just better left alone. Sure the special effects will be better this time around, I just grew up on the one from the 80's so I guess I am partial to it. With that said, I will still go see it I'm sure.
Now I hear they are remaking Red Dawn as well as Red Sonja. Wasn't Red Sonja bad enough the first time around? Now they have Rose McGowan playing Red Sonja? Damn, you would think they could have gotten someone a bit better than Rose. Meanwhile, Red Dawn has gone from the invasion of just Russians in America to Russians and Chinese forces. I would have figured they would have gone with someone from the Middle East or North Korea.
To top it off, they are doing a remake/spin off of the Karate Kid starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. This time the family moves to China and Jaden Smith (Wil Smith's kid) embraces karate as a way to cope with the change. Give me a break.
Here are a couple I am waiting on.
Here is a couple I know Marcus is waiting to come out.

I only watched Avatar so far, but that looks really damn good.
New Boondock Saints movie is out and here is the real kicker that makes me actually want to see it.. they were able to retain the entire cast, with the exception of Willam DeFoe. You get the same people and I'll watch the sequel.

You guys ever seen Overnight? It's a doco about the making of Boondock Saints. Hilarious. I like Boondock but this movie just shows the director up as a massive dick. It's quite funny watching his personality just destroy a promising career. Will be definitely catching BDS2 as I did like the first.

Well the prob for BDS2 is that it's only showing in select theaters around the country. Nothing even in Florida for me or near my hometown in NY. I'm probably going to have to wait until it comes out for rental.

I have to admit, I am a little disappointed that no one posted a New Moon trailer.

Colt, we will now pull your Man Card for that New Moon comment. LoL!
Boondock Saints is one of my all-time favorites and I am looking forward to seeing the sequel, but like Rob said, it is in select theaters and it only has a couple of showings a day as well. Might have to wait to catch it on a pirate website or wait for it to come out on DVD.

I have to admit, I am a little disappointed that no one posted a New Moon trailer. Just for that, you should be banned from commenting OOC. Hah, for those of you who can't see BDS2 in the movie theater and have to wait til DVD....WELCOME TO MY WORLD!

Okay, before banning me and stealing my man card you have to realize the source. With me being a sixth grade teacher it is part of my responsibility to read what my students are reading and last year every girl in the class was reading the Twilight Saga books. Thus I read them all, and I will be the first to say that the books were not that terrible.
As for the movies I don't focus in on the romantic hoopla that all the girls are obsessed with, but comparing the movies to the books.
So all of you haters out there, frag off!

Now I have heard that the books are much better than the movies and I will even admit that I watched first one so I could properly judged it. After the longest 2 hours of my life, not only did I want my money back from the rental, but a dollar for every minute I was miserable. And yes that was the entire 120 minutes. Needless to say I refuse to ever see any of the others. The truth is that those movies cater to a certain demographic and none of us fit that.
Also, Ninja Assassin does look good, but the fact that it is a Wachowski Brothers film has me a bit concerned. They have yet to have another movie as good as the first Matrix.

If you are using the first Matrix as your basis of comparison then you are aiming a little too high. That was one of the best movies ever made in my opinion.
