You can send me a pm if you don't want to speak in public.
Our roster appears to have hit a snag. It's not growing as it was a few short weeks ago. Actually, it's shrinking pretty quick and it's making booking (believe it or not) a little difficult.
So my question(s) is/are . . .
1.) How does everyone feel about being booked on consecutive cards? I know one role play a week isn't a huge work load, but we've kinda become use to not having to role play for each card. They may be reality in the near future.
2.) For handlers who have more than one character . . . how do you feel about your characters being booked on the same show? This is a big one, actually, because the tie ins make it kinda tough. But if you really don't care to post two role plays a week for some shows . . . all is good. I guess I need to know who is willing and who isn't.
3.) Anything we need to change to make things better? We're rolling along fine. I'm not worried about the roster size at all. I know I've got guys who I can count on to role play. And I've got a handful of guys waiting in the shadows to join up. But I'm just wondering if I'm missing something. I've never ran a fed before. Actually, I have. FWF for a very short period during which the "Write Your Own Match Policy" was created. =) So I'm not claiming to be GREAT at this. I guess I'm just looking for some suggestions.

You know you can use the Wizard whenever. You know you can tap me for whatever other jazz you need. I've run feds before. You're doing a swell job here budday. I wouldn't worry too much about the roster growing much. This federation moves slowly because of the card every other week thing, so it really doesn't have to grow at any rapid pace. The roster looks good, people are doing their thing and there are others coming in, from the looks of the strats on the cards.
Just stay the course dood. You're doing fine.

I have no problem working every card. No matter how many characters I have.

You and I have had this conversation earlier in the week so you know I am willing to have any and all characters booked on the same show. Hell, I still have ideas for new characters, but this isn't the KWD (K for me, Kevin), it is the TWD. Anyway, I am available if needed.

We should try to implament what I use to do in some feds I ran... have a angel commitie. That way eveyone would be a part of a fued or story line for that matter, keep them busy. I've mention this once before but it was never taken serious. As a matter of fact, most guys enjoy this cause they don't have any idea on what to do with their character.

I'd prefer to RP both my characters on the same card, but I'm not picky and if booking dictates otherwise-so be it!
I love this fed, as it's the most fun I've had since early on in my TWF career. I have active storylines for both my characters and endless ways to take both of them.
I like Marcus' idea, but I think that character development/angles should come from the handlers. If you can't run a character then maybe it's not a strong character. I know sometimes I've needed a shove in the right direction and feuds help that, but I don't like being told "Do X, Y, and Z".

Though, if needed, I would be willing to be on every card...I prefer to be on every other card. I am traveling more often and have less time than I used to, so the level I'm currently at his comfortable. I would also be glad to turn in more segments as well if it helps (admittedly, I have slacked on that the past couple of cards).

The way I did it I did not force any one to do anything, I mostly just jump started a fued one way or another if I see the role player just hanging around just... role playing, not really participating as far as fueds. That kind of idle hands will make him go else where, sort of like a junkie who can find better smack from another drug dealer, he will keep you around as an emergency dealer.
Or lets say they are in a middle of a fued and they don't have any thing sent in by the time I finish the card, what I did is take fued and see what is going on and I will add some thing to the card to help push it a long.
