Old people, atleast the ones I deal with regularly in swarms, have this sense of entitlement. It's like the world owes them something for their time, regardless of what they did or didn't do in their lifetime. Some are nice and others are unsavory.
At their age, I think they care less than anyone else about what people think of them or if they have to impress others. That's why many of them smell kinda bad, have incredibly awkward and outdated appearances or just generally dont care what comes out of their mouth or who it offends. This all goes back to the "respect your elders" thing, but I don't see how that justifies them acting like shitheads whenever they feel like it. I try. I FUCKIN TRY to kill them with kindness. It just bounces off them and they go back to attacking my already thin armor with their shit. Its VERY tough not to blast one of these kadgers in the dome piece and put them down for good.
Since you were mentioning Thomas Jefferson and the things he created and stood for, you'd probably be surprised to know that it wasn't necessary him creating it at all. Jefferson is a member of the Free Masons, the worlds oldest secret society and most of the things that are part of our everyday life, like separation of Church and State, Democracy, etc etc.. are Free Mason ideals. Free Masons left England because of religious persecution and such like that, to begin a new settlement here in the States. Do some research on the Free Masons and their impact on America and you'll find a TON of shit out that is right there up in our face every day but we just didn't know where it came from.
