Cool piece. I didn't know Paul Bearer was entombed. Missed that one. And the vigilante, never saw him. Makes me wonder how many times in e-wrestling that we generate these "Unsolved Mysteries". Let's hear about them. Anyone?

You made me go to wwe.com and for that you suck.
The awnsers
1. The stage people
2. Nothing
3. the writers caused the set to fall as Vince has wanted to do a death angle for a while. Remember the Limo blowing up
4. Festus was the fake Kane. AKA Isaac Yankem DDS aka Kane classic, before Glenn Jacobs took over the role. Intresting note Festus also played the OG fake undertaker
Here is a bigger mystery.
How did Chris Benoit disappear from the history books despite receiving nothing but praise from the wwe?
Who voted Koko B. Ware into the HOF?
Why isn't Randy Savage in the HOF
Or Bruno Sanmartino

Intresting note Festus also played the OG fake undertaker Here is a bigger mystery. How did Chris Benoit disappear from the history books despite receiving nothing but praise from the wwe? Who voted Koko B. Ware into the HOF? Why isn't Randy Savage in the HOF Or Bruno Sanmartino I remember that the original plan for the whole briefcase lifting and lowering was originally suppose to be a way to bring Chris Jericho in, but I thought that it was revealed to be Steve Blackman (should have stuck with Jericho). Yeah, there was nothing in the urn. The set falling was meant as a way to end the whole "Million Doller Mania" crap. I am sure they did it as a way for Vince to get off television since everyone was sick of him at that point (What? Sick of seeing Vince on TV? Never). Yes Festus was the imposter Kane, but I don't think he was the imposter Undertaker. I am pretty sure that was one of the Disciples of Apocolypes, maybe Crush or Chainz. The Benoit thing is still a load of crap. If you hear interviews with people who knew him, they say that they don't understand what happened and it wasn't in Benoit's character. Those that didn't know him that well are the ones calling him a monster. The fact is that WWE doesn't want the bad press being associated with those murders. They got hell for doing that tribute show but they didn't know what happened just like we didn't at the time. They were just doing what they have always done when they lose one of their wrestlers. The fact is that one evil deed can destroy a lifetime of great accomplishments. Benoit tarnished his legacy and it is a real shame. Benoit is and always will be one of my all time favorites and I prefer to remember what he accomplished than what he did. They just wanted to see the bird again. Well Savage and Vince have some serious bad blood between them. Rumor has it that Savage slept with Stephanie back when he was still with WWF. Not sure how accurate that is, but it would explain it. Bruno should have been inducted when Andre was.

The fact is that one evil deed can destroy a lifetime of great accomplishments. Benoit tarnished his legacy and it is a real shame. Benoit is and always will be one of my all time favorites and I prefer to remember what he accomplished than what he did. I don't want to sound like a dick but I have a couple of thoughts on this. 1. Evidence after the murders indicated that Benoit's wife had obtained protection from abuse orders on at least one occasion during their marriage, years before he murdered her. What this implies is that he had a history of being violent towards this woman. So, whilst I'm sure he was no "monster" as far as his friends were concerned and probably even as far as Nancy was concerned, he had displayed traits that would later return with much more severity. 2. Why should WWE acknowledge him? It would serve no positive purpose whatsoever to them and I'd think most wrestling fans would prefer to forget about him rather than watch his matches. 3. The Tribute Show is an interesting one. The reports were (and I don't know if this was confirmed or not) that they found out as it was on the air, about half-way through. A tough call maybe to immediately pull it but in hindsight probably would have been a good idea. I was surprised it went to air at all since the second I read the story, I assumed he'd killed them. Don't know why, it was just a gut instinct. Also, on the Tribute Show, I think William Regal's speech was very telling. He talked about Benoit as a work colleague and a wrestler and never mentioned anything about him as a man. For some reason, I took his words to say that he had an inkling what had happened. 4. I don't judge anybody who can watch his matches now and enjoy them. I still listen to Lou Reed albums and he was a notorious woman-basher, but don't you cringe every time you see him perform a German Suplex, thinking "hey, that's another concussion!" I just can't watch his matches without seeing them as a platform for the batshit insane murderer he became. As I say, I'm not judging though. I'm genuinely interested. Aaaannndddd.... back to your regular scheduled programming.

Well on the day they aired the tribute show, nobody knew what exactly happened until the next day. All that was reported was that they were found dead in their home, so they did the tribute show. That next day is when everyone found out that Benoit had murdered them and then himself so for the rest of the week on ECW and Smackdown, there was message from Vionce where he stated that due to recent information, the only time Benoit would be mention was during Vince's opening. After that, the only other time I have heard anything about Benoit on a WWE production was on that HHH dvd from about a year ago.
I agree that WWE shouldn't acknowledge him because that incident and they don't need anymore bad publicity.
Yes I had heard about all the restraining orders and reports of abuse made by Nancy and what not, but you get that all the time. Hell Kurt Angle was just arrested for that shit. While I don't condone those actions, it is not unheard of in the wrestling world or with any kind of celebrity. Should they have gotten help? Yes. However being abusive doesn't make you a killer. That comes when you actually kill someone and he did cross that line and it shocked everyone.
I can still watch his matches with the same awe that I did before the incident, the only diffrence is that I have a hard time believing he is gone and he did that. Benoit was the main reason I started watching wrestling in '97.
The point is that I don't agree with what he did and I understand why people react the way they do about it. I just prefer to remember him for what he accomplished in the ring and not what he did outside of it. The truth is that nobody knows what happened that day. There has been alot of speculation, but that is all it is, speculation.

E Wrestling unsolved mystery: How the hell did Sparrow actually get down from the cross that Ranma Saotome nailed him to?
What really happened with Hamid/Justin?
How the hell is Heartbreak Meyers so revered when he sucked almost as bad as Adam Young?
If Sparrow and the Empire never did invade DDWF, would they still have closed down anyway?
I'm sure theres many more (Like where is the Great Droopi and why isn't he in TWD DAMMIT)

Adding to the list of e-wrestling mysteries:
1. Where did Mark Raymer disappear to without a trace? 2. Just how in the hell did Deuce Deamon win the FWF World Title? 3. How did anyone ever think that Chris Carey was a good fedhead? 4. Why did NRG think that we were "boys" just because he handled a character in a fed that I ran back in the day? 5. What ever became of The HarpBreak Kid?
