www.freewebs.com/thewrestlingdomain/CardArchives/2009/twdsd082309.htmNew card will be posted in a couple minutes. Site updates later tonight. Showdown Preview for Sept 6th later this week. Post all show feedback below. My own personal opinion.. this could possibly be the best top-to-bottom Showdown that I've put together since I took over in late March. Everyone.. this was great work.

Amazing card, very impressed with how well everything was written. And the main event writing was pure genius.
So many different angles coming along well leading into Supercard II, can't wait to see how majority of them play out at the next Showdown and Supercard.
Great working with O'Malley and Filipe, and congrats to Chase for winning his first TWD, and e-fed title.

I must agree. It was a great show. Everything flowed very smoothly and there were some great strats and even better twists.
I do want to give props to Filipe and O'Malley because they did bring it these last 2 weeks. And I also want to congrats to Colt. With out a good partner, I wouldn't have pulled it off.

Epic show. Angles everywhere!
Congrats to Colt and Saber on their win. Well deserved.
After a few weeks of summarized matches it was great to have the full thing again. They read fantastically, Rob, 'especially the Main Event. Good work.
This place really seems to be picking up now. Most people seem to have angles going. New people who are coming in are bringing the goods immediately. Freytag Effect are already my favourite characters on the show.
Keep up the good work, everyone. Looks like the Supercard will be HUGE.

maybe its my adhd or maybe its the weed.....but god that was one freaking long read!
Great show, I enjoyed it top to bottom EXCEPT....the long ass Saber/Colt Promos....I had to take a break from reading during that (yes I'm fried sorry) Honestly, I enjoyed those promos as well.
Freytag Effect makes me want to be a better heel.....They kick major ass. Way to play the "damsel in pain" card.
Another World Title shot......are you guys getting sick of this yet? (I'm not)

Nice card. Leaves a lot to be excited about.
The Saber/Crawford/Clark relationship has a ton of potential. Two "young", talented (IC and OCC), confident guys with the presence of a respected ring veteran and now . . . throw the tag team championship in.
I'm hanging onto my seat to find out what Kingpin and Scottie come up with next. There's bound to be a u-turn somewhere in the near future and now you give them Krenshaw and Krunch has some comp . . . that's going to heat up.
I'm pretty sure everyone can tell from the cards and the role play board that Freytag and Shabree are going to be forces. The Brent Kersh gig was classic. A unique attack against a character who seemingly has no weaknesses. Very good stuff.
And Nik, you've earned every title shot you've received in my opinion. Becoming THE champion is a great accomplishment, but the same can be said for staying at the top of the food chain as long as you have. Keep up the good work.
The same to all.

Another good episode. Matches were well written Rob. *Tips Hat* There's a lot of solid angles developing as we lead into Supercard II which is always nice to see. I liked the Krenshaw segment revealing Krunch as his partner. The whole situation with Kingpin and Scott Pandora now spiraling out of control is quite intriguing. Especially Scott's comments regarding the opening of pandora's box. I'm interested in seeing where this goes. I'm glad Pat liked the seg with the Freytag Effect. I've always noticed some slight similarities between our characters (based on what I know of Brent Kersh) and the idea just came to me to barely tread those waters. Subtle, heelish gestures like gift giving, is a nice start. Congrats to Saber and Colt. Nice job guys, those belts are deserved in my opinion. The competition for those straps is going to be quite good, especially when it comes time for Supercard. Nice work everyone!

The praise this show is getting is deserved. One thing I really like about this fed is that anyone who participates here has something meaningful going on. I've noticed that over the course of the last few shows I've been a part of. Very cool!!
Good rivalries happenin here....makes for crisp shows and especially PPVs. Can't wait for Supercard. Hopefully I'll be a Champ walking out. ;D Nah, we gotz our work cut out for us. Congrats to the new champs who are going to be some fun competition.
Props to everyone for making this a really good show that was fun to read. I can't wait for next Showdown!!
