Major credit to Chris Freytag for making this show possible. He wrote two matches for me. New Showdown lineup is posted on the Main Page. Be sure to re-check that section, as the original lineup has changed from the earlier posting. Roleplaying for Showdown has begun. We are back to the original deadline where Roleplays and Segments are due by Noon PST or 3pm EST on Sunday the 15th. Last show before Devil's Dance. Comments and feedback below.

I am with Nik (noticed I spelled right again my friend), Al Kayda? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
As far as Marcus and Ray, life came up. I won't get into details, but sometimes we all lose focus of the fact that this is nothing more than a game and something to fill empty space in our daily lives. Sure it is sad to see them go. Say what you want about them, but they are good guys and they put in work when they are going at this full steam. Just right now, life had to come first and they had to decide between opportunities in the real world or the TWD. I don't blame them one bit and I am sure before it is all said and done with, we will see them again.
Much props to Chris Freytag for helping shoulder the load this show. I know Rob has had a lot going on lately and dealing with some stressful stuff so I, and I am sure the rest of the TWD, thanks you for your help. Much appreciated my friend.
One thing I would like to see, and I know ROb has talked about this in the past, is more people working together with others. I am starting to see it and I have even reached out to a few of you about doing some stuff together. This is a pretty strong core of people we have here and I only see it getting better. We have hit a dry spell, but all feds do that from time to time. The key to all of this is, "how do we deal with this dry spell and how can we be better once we get through it?" I urge you all to think about this and see what ways you can help make this fed better.
Okay, other than that, the show was pretty darn good considering all the outside factors that effected it. Keep up the good work and best of luck to each of you in your upcoming matches and careers here in the TWD. Take care my friends.

I say welcome to Al Kayda and Jason Hartnell. Lord knows we need the roster additions, especially after the lose of Marcus and Ray Somewhere down the road I am sure we will see them again, but right now they have other priorities to take care of.
So now the World title is vacant and we are guaranteed a new champion at Devil's Dance. Curious to see who can step up to the plate and carry the fed.
Freytag/Krenshaw was a great match and both mean deserved it. There is a reason why those 2 are among the top guys in the fed and if you have any doubts then go back and reread their rps. Good stuff.
Well the first chapter on the Saber/Colt Crawford feud has come to a close. Was shocked I got the win considering I felt my rps sucked this last time. Regardless of that, it has been and honor and pleasure to work with Pell over the last several months. I look forward to doing it again sometime. Of course the real question now is where do I go from here? If anyone out there wants to have a feud along that same quality, just let me know.
Good show all around and I look forward to the next one.

I thought that was a pretty great show.
I'm loving the Shabree/Kersh angle. It's really great to read and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Saber and Colt had a memorable and worthy pay-off. The debuts of Hartnell and Al Kayda are good roster additions. I'm really keen to see what these guys come up with.
Major kudos to Chris. I loved reading our match and I must say just the prospect of rp'ing against him forced me to put out some of the best stuff I've done in this run, I think. I approach our next match with excitement and trepidation. For me, matches like the one I just had and the two I face over the next month are what make this game fun. Knowing that I can do my best and still face defeat is really exciting.
Sad to see Marcus and Ray go but you can't begrudge anyone whose time can't fit the game in. It is just a game and real life comes first by a long margin. Hopefully we see them again in the fed or even just on the OOC boards.
Once again, cheers to Rob. His commitment to getting results out in a timely manner is excellent. It was another good show in a string of them.
Fed's still keeping up momentum despite setbacks. Really looking forward to seeing how things pan out.
