(The scene pans in to a completely black room. We stay in the dark for a few seconds and suddenly a spark shoots and you can see someone has lit a lighter. With the new light in the room it is easy to tell that we are in some sort of office there are books everywhere and a man appears to be sitting in an office chair at a desk. We hear a light chuckle come from the man and he reaches over to the lamp on his desk and turns it on.
We now see that the things we thought were books were instead DVDs and VHS tapes. one side of the room has a wall full of wrestling DVDs. The other side has a wall of music video tapes and CDs, most dating back from the 80's.
The man cracks his knuckles and finally turns around to reveal himself as one of TWD's newest superstars, Rocky "The Boss" Rhoades. Rhoades appears to be a well built man with blonde hair, but age has gotten the better of him. he is wearing a TWD T-Shirt and ripped jeans. Rhoades has dark circles around his eyes and a five o'clock shadow.
Rhoades walks to the back of the room wehere there are stacks of Rolling Stones magazines, looks around for a little bit, and seems to find the one he was looking for. He grabs it and goes back to his seat. This time though, he faces the camera. Rhoades flips through the pages, but suddenly stops. he holds the page so the camera can get a look at it.)
Rgoades: Go ahead, zoom in on it.
(The camera man does as he was told and we see the healdine that reads, "Tommy Lee and Pamela Sex Scandal." Rhoades clears his throat and begins to address the camera.)
Rhoades: You know, in this world if you make one little mistake everyone will turn their backs on you. Don't believe me? Ask Tiger Woods how friendly his world is right now. When you are on top of the world everyone wants to be your friend, but as soon as you stumble everyone wants to jump off your band wagon and kick you while you are down. I guess I'm no different because that is exactly what happened to me.
(There's a knock at the door and a man walks in with drinks on a tray. Rgoades takes one and takes a sip before continuing.)
Rhoades: Ten years ago I was one of the greatest wrestlers in the world. I had just become the GCW World Champion. It seemed like I could do no wrong. Then BOOM! Next thing you know, I get dropped on my neck and the doctors tell me I can never wrestle again. My title was taken away from me, and it seemed like the whole wrestling world turned its back on me. I got to the point where I despised the business. I had hit rock bottom. But when you hit rock bottom th eonly thing you can do is go up. So after a few months of sulking and feeling sorry for myself I got a phone call that changed my life. My manager called and said that he got a modeling job for me. At first I thought he was joking, but he wasn't. So I went where he told me and had my first modeling gig.
(Rhoades smiles and then gets up and unlocks a safe behind the desk. he pulls out a magazine that is in a plastic bag. he opens up the bag and once again holds up a picture to the camera. There is a big picture of Rhoades dressed up as a lobster promoting some sort of sea food restaurant.)
Rhoades: That's right, just like in wrestling where you start from the bottom and work your way up, it's the same in modeling. My first gig was dressing up like a damn fool in a lobster suit. I had gone from making big bucks as a champion wrestler to making two hundred bucks dressing up like a lobster. But you know what? The funny thing was I loved it. it gave me that feeling that wrestling once did. SO just like I had done in wrestling, I put all my focus on becoming the greatest male model to ever live. And that's what I thought I was gonna do. Once again I felt like I was climbing to the top of the world, like I could do no wrong. Once again, fate proved that nobody is invincible.
(Rhoades takes another sip from his drink and his cell phone rings. he takes his phone out and silences the call.)
Rhoades: Six months ao I met this girl who said she remembered me from my days as a top notch draw in some local indy fed along the Eastern Seaboard. Said she was a big fan. One thing lead to another and we ended up in a hotel room doing all sorts of freaky stuff. Nothing too outlandish, but let's just say I showed her the time of her life. At least I thought I had.
Well, turns out she had set the room up with some hidden cameras and microphones and taped our little get together. Then she turned aorund and sold it to the tabloids. I was ruined. No more modeling gigs for me as no one would touch me with a ten foot pole.
So again I had to get things in order and find a way to climb the ladder of success. i started working with a trainer and a back specialist and got some small fights in some mom and pop feds. Finally, the TWD decided to give me a shot and here I am. Rocky "The Boss" Rhoades is ready to rock n roll again.
So this is my last shot at the big time again and you best believe brother I am gonna make the best of it. I am gonna "Rock You Like A Hurricane" because I have "The Eye Of The Tiger" and I plan to "Rock N Roll All Night And Party Everyday." Sure that may all sound cliche, but what would you expect from an old rock n roller like myself.
So first up is Mr. Wizard of Ahhs. brutha I dont know you, and I am sure with a name like that, you, me and a bunch of strippers could party all night. But that has to happen after I lay a good old fashion butt whooping on you. Don't take it personally my friend. It's just all business. We can party together afterwards.
