(Back in the States, apparently relaxed and happy from his visit home, Stan behind him lugging a huge bag, JahMon smiles as he inhales the stale Houston air, his smile nearly fades to disgust, but he doesn't allow it to bother him, Stan and JahMon get into the waiting limo, apparently Stan has connections and JahMon doesn't mind, Stan has become a good friend and a fun guy to hang out with, Stan makes JahMon feel less lonely, he doesn't have to toke alone and thats the best feeling to JahMon. The limo pulls away from the loading zone and before the limo even makes its way out of the mess of roads that lead out of the Airport, JahMon has already sparked up a blunt)
Stan: Whoa man, I think I smoked way too much on the Island.
JahMon: Smoked too much? Theres no such thing my friend, you can NEVER smoke too much
Stan: Hey, well.....
JahMon: Thats what I thought.
(He laughs and passes the blunt to Stan, Stan takes the obligatory 2 puffs and passes back, they go back and forth for a good 15 minutes, finally the blunt is down to impossible to smoke, so JahMon opens the sunroof and flicks it out, JahMon turns on the radio and some good Reggae music by Katchafire comes on, Stan starts to groove, like a white boy who ain't got no soul, and JahMon feels like he's in the zone)
JahMon: So it seems that I've been overlooked for the BKI, well thats alright mon, I have an agenda here anyway. I'm here to establish myself and in order to do that, I need to work my way up the ladder, you see, I know my place here, guys like Kingpin, Justin York, Katu, Eno, Luger, Andy Christ, Tanaka and O'Malley, they made a name for themselves already, me, I jus the guy who made people laugh the last few months, I just the man who cut the first TWD Promo, I jus the guy who smoke the herb and play the crowd. Well that fine with me mon, I don mind be dat guy, you see, I here to show TWD that I'm able to be a humble competitor, win or lose I'm gon keep my smile on all the time. Yah mon, I happy to be here in the TWD, I happy to show the folks of Texas a thing or two about Jamaican boys, I happy to jus watch the backs of Tommy and Motu and Katu, but don get the wrong idea, I still hungry mon, hungry for a title, hungry for experience, hungry to be the top dog.
(Stan "grooves" to "Get away" by Katchafire, he bobs his head off beat to the rythm and smiles this "holy crap I'm stoned" smile, JahMon laughs at the sight, then he pulls out another blunt and they smoke that one, halfway through the second blunt, Stan becomes a zombie, he just sits there staring out the sunroof, he's offically smoked out, gone to the relams of his own world, JahMon smiles and decides to finish the blunt, when he's finished he throws the blunt out just like the last one)
JahMon: I figure its better to become the top dog by slowly working my way up, its better to take each win and loss as a stepping stone, I know I've got talent, I know I've got desire, but do I have the knowledge? I hate to admit, I don't have much knowledge of this sport, I mean I know the moves, the history, the atomsphere, but I do not know the experience, Sure, Katu only had the experience of last year's BKI, but he was training all his life and he made a name for himself on his own island and his reigon, me, I'm basically a newbie, I guess you could call me a rookie, I have been training to be a wrestler for 5 years, but to be honest mon, before TWD, I only has 3 pro matches under my belt, and those were in Jamaica, I got shafted by the screwy promoter, I learned a hard lesson about trust, but now I know I can trust the TWD, I know I have the freedom to make my mistakes and become a better man, and this I shall do, be a better man I will. With each passing day, I take advantage of having TWD trainers correct my mistakes and help me improve my game, I take advantage of the state of the art equipment that will put me in the best shape I can possibly be, you see, when I smoke the weed, it puts me in a state of mind where I can achieve anything I want to acheieve. I can go toe to toe with anyone in this Federation, I may not win every time, but mon, I'll be giving my all, because to give my all means I tried my hardest, if I fail trying my hardest, then I know I need to try harder, if I fail when I didn't try, then perhaps maybe I don't belong here. The fact of the matter is, I'm here to improve myself, for what? Who knows, personal glory is worthless if you take the shortcut, PRIDE is earned when you try, and fail, then try again. Like the great Ric Flair once said..."Knock me down 10 times, I get up 11!" So knock me down if you dare TWD, I'll still get up, and before you know it, I may surprise everyone, sometimes, you never see it coming!
(The limo stops at JahMon and Stan's duplex, Stan seems to have snapped out of his trance and bolts for the door, he must have the munchies, JahMon smiles, shakes his head then grabs both of their bags and hauls them into the house, then he comes back out and lights up another blunt, the scene fades with JahMon exhaling and then smiling)
