Looks like it is going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG season Martin. Your sorry ass team just suffered slaughter at the hands of the Boys. You suck. Your team sucks. And on top of it all LeBron was seen on the Dallas side of the field.
If we thourghouly owned you any more we would be the florida gators. Ohio is crap and the browns just proved my point.
How bout them Cowboys 1-0

Aren't you supposed to be moving?
Though I'm not much moved by the performance of my beloved Brownies, I'm not quite ready to jump ship. You can call it a slaughter Ray (and I'll be the first to admit that the Cowboys are more talented and simply outplayed the Browns) but the truth of the matter is that we were a Braylon Edwards drop and Derek Anderson fumble away from making this a lot closer of a game. I'll credit their sloppy to play to not being on the field for over two weeks prior to the start.
Our strategy was crazy in that we decided it was best to drop everyone except our linemen into coverage and then . . . not guard anyone. TO and Witten were running free for most of the day because of our zone defense. I actually think Romo was confused at the amount of time he had to throw and the amount of receivers that were open. He thought it was some kind of trick.
All in all . . . both lines played well and I wasn't disappointed in our secondary. We had two practice squad players filling in at #2 and #3 receiver slots. That kinda makes a difference. Not to mention the absence of Josh Cribbs. Throw in DA and BE's rust and there you have the egg.
No excuses Ray. The Cowboys are solid and I'm pretty sure they're gonna get another opportunity to a blow a shot at the Super Bowl. But the team I was "dumpster talking" about earlier in the year just wasn't on the field today and only ignorance would beg to differ.
As for the Browns, all sins will be forgotten if they get a win next week against the Steelers. A 9-7 record could very well win the AFC North.

Lap top Martin. Lap top I can check online but I have none of the materials to write or post a Rp with. (vista=no word processor or anything else)
I watched that entire game and I have to say that the browns did look like they had no answer to Jason Whitten. On a plus note I am sold on Andreson and He looks solid. The Boys will end up doing something retarded hopefully it will not be in the playoffs.
Good luck with the steelers cause they are a Juggernaut. I love me some D-Fence. They are on my fantasy team so I am rooting against you AGAIN.

Didn't watch the game, but it didn't sound to great for your beloved Browns.
However, after watching MY BELOVED STEELERS!!! The chance to get on the right track may just have to wait until week three for the Brownies...no offense.

Actually I didn't know that. Besides you move cross country and have to deal with somehow coming up with RP's I think I am doing the right thing.
But thanks for the comments. My note will suffice.

No offense taken Brian and the same to you when I say . . . it's week two or bust for the Brownies. There will be no wild card from the AFC North which means the Browns have to win the division to make it to the playoffs. To do that, they absolutely have to beat the Steelers and I just don't see them doing that in Pittsburgh in Week 17.
Nope . . . it's now or next year. And I realize that if the same Browns team shows up next week that did against the 'boys . . . next year will be a long way away.

Oh my, my, my . . . how stupid pride makes us feel sometime. Ray, I apologize for insulting your intelligence.
After watching the game for the second time I made two key observations that pretty much sinks my original analysis of "we didn't get beat that bad".
1.) I noticed multiple times that as Tony Romo baked a cake in the pocket his o-line had created for him, not one, not two, but THREE Dallas receivers weren't open . . . they were WIDE open. I am dead serious. I go back to my sarcasm of Romo being confused by the ease of what was happening . . . after watching the game closer, this is REALLY TRUE! I swear, Tony must have thought "wait a second, they're not guarding anyone. I don't know who to throw to". RIDICULOUS!
2.) The Browns linebackers are absolutely horrible. They cannot make an open field tackle. And it showed.
These two things were clearly obvious as I watched the game for the second time AND I have to admit that yea, the game could have been closer. But even if the Browns offense would have been playing full throttle . . . the Cowboys would have won, because every time we scored they would have scored as well.

What was so bad about the Brownies was the lack of a rush. Damn, Romo had time to take out a loan, do his taxes and even help me finish moving before the Brownies would have ever gotten to him. That was ridiculous! I will go with the name Browniesas Patrick calls them for the simple fact that the way they played was soft, just like a Brownie. The sad thing is, in my preview for the newspaper, I picked them to win their division. AFter the first game of the season, I am starting to hate the taste of the Cleveland Kool-Aid I was drinking.

HAVING the tools and effectively using them are two different things.
You can have a hammer but you can't pound a nail in until you use the hammer effectively.
