So here's the scoop . . . I took the average of everyone's rankings and compared those totals to a system I had thought of (using an average of my own personal rankings and the rankings determined by win/loss/draw record) and guess what? After all the sorting and figuring . . . the numbers came out essentially the same with the lone exception being a flip flop between Tomas Luger and Katu Tui (which seemed to be common play throughout everyones rankings. One person ranked Luger a spot above Tui and the other did vice versa).
At any rate . . . I think I will wave the rankings participation from you guys and just go it on my own. All in all . . . they really don't mean anything anyway. I mean really . . . REALLY!

I have an idea. Rather than having federation rankings as a running tally of who is doing what, how about we just do rankings based on the week's show. Run the rankings as who were the impact players on the show for that week. If you weren't doing something for the show, you don't get ranked because you didn't contribute much. Just a thought so people don't get caught up in being #4 or #8 in the fed. It's such a new place, everyone is a contender for this and that, you know what I mean? Why not do the rankings like that until a more advanced placement system is even needed or necessary? Get's rid of the "I'm better than you" mentality and makes it more about a team effort to create the start of something that people will want to remember, you know what I mean?

What if I already thought I was better than everyone already?
I don't care either way. Rankings don't effect me anymore. I used to get caught up in the "OMG! I'm ranked too low considering I busted my ass all week and even won my match!". Now, I just RP for the fun of it. Makes it easier...

Rankings are like nachos...the hotter your nacho, the more painful #2 is later.
