I don't know whether to delete this post or not. So I guess in favor of non-censorship I will just explain.
"sdotbull" is a very talented role player I've crossed paths with in GFedWrestling or Geeksoft, the creators of Zeus. I caught up with him a couple weeks ago and asked him if he would be interested in joining TWD. He ultimately said yes.
Now, I knew that the guy had a history for creating somewhat controversial characters. The character he played I'm most familiar with was a war veteran named J.J. Ryan who would basically fade in and out of shock as a result of his time in the war. And when he faded . . . he became the epitome of controversial. But it was cool and I appreciated his style and felt he was way underused in the fed.
At any rate, last night sdotbull sent me his character info for Albert Hitler and I kinda choked on my spit. I wasn't for sure how he would be perceived here considering the majority of our guys are used to the "PG" atmosphere of TWF. And also . . . GEEZE, what a character. So I had hesitation.
I slept on it and this morning I sent sdotbull a message saying that I wasn't going to be able to allow a character of this type into the TWD if for nothing else my own conscious. But also, as I evaluated things although he feels his character could actually be considered neutral, I think he is major heel. The problem there is that his obvious foe would be Kingpin who also happens to be a heel. So I guess I'm not for it strategically either.
So there you have it. I actually hope he chooses another character and jumps back into the mix because I really do think he is an excellent role player. And on a side note, he has handled an African-American character in the past . . . if his OOC character needs any validation. In short, he's just a role player fellas.

I appologize if I offended anybody here. I just like pushing the buttons and we've seen every single gimmick in feds for the last 12+ years so i mean just wanted to branch out and do something new but its cool ill be back with a charecter more acceptable to this fed.

The only Beef I would have is if he complained to the fed head OOC when it got rough. I am not easly offended. I really do live in Texas so racist black/white people don't bother me. Actually, most people here hate each other the diffrence comes with who has the balls to say something. I am not easily offended
Internet annomity has been the 2k courage pill for the last few years the way I see it is why should it stop with the younger generation. I just choose to have fin with it. Besides I have the most contraversial wrestler in the history of fedding in my stable. DRAGZILLA!!!! Until you have seen him/her in action you couldn't even imigine it.
Summerized, I could care less. Do what you want.

Its not much unlike the Sgt Slaughter face vs Iron Sheik heel type of rivalry.
good vs. evil.
Now we just need a Jewish face character to go up against him, lol.

Not offended either. I think he'd be a great heel, and I say allow him. So far I think everyone who is here is smart enough to know it's just a character anyway. I know I speak for myself and prolly for Kingpinhead too when I say PG rating is not needed. I can take the gloves off.

Hey guys . . . does anyone mind if I have my nuts back? I mean the marquee on the wall does say Patrick Martin doesn't it? Actually it doesn't, it says The Wrestling Domain and even in theory if it would say a name it would be Brent Kersh as opposed to Patrick Martin because Brent owns the place and . . . nevermind.
At any rate . . . I'll be up front with everyone. I don't like the character. He leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But it appears as if I have been overruled by my peers and because I want you guys to consider this YOUR place just as I consider it MY place . . . I will go against my better judgement and speak to sdotbull about what he wants to do.
As a ground rule . . . I have a bit of respect for the majority of you guys and I want you to know that I value your opinion. Keep in mind; however, that there may come a time in TWD life in which I have to stick to my guns and make an unpopular decision.
On a final note . . . Thomas Luger . . . are you EVER going to send in your character profile? Geesh. =) Just kidding. No really, I'm not, but you know . . . just kidding, not. Send in your stuff.

I actually laughed at this. While it seems a bit outdated (Hitler was 60 years ago) and brash, I dont think it fits with the current roster we have, perhaps in a few months it might be a cool character.
I'm all for controversial characters as long as they stay in character and not bringing it OOC
