Honestly, I am watching it for Japan, Korea and was watching for the Dominican Republic, but the "Team Of No One From The Netherlands But Playing For The Netherlands," has peeked my interest.

I will now wait for Marcus to comment and get pissed since I dissed the WBC.

I will like to send out a shout out to Ray for calling me and reminding that it was on even if I was at work. The thought is what count and it means a lot.

I will like to also send shout outs to all the teams who are doing their thang in the WBC, I wish Manny was playing, but at least I got to see Pedro before leaving for work.

First off you big mouth bastard, I gave you the damn schedule the other day when I called and talked to you. I gave you the whole damn weekend schedule and even called you 15 minutes before the Korea vs Chinese Taipei game.

Secondly, I am not hating on the teams, I am hating on the fact that they make this out to be the thing that will save baseball and that is a crock of BS. It is a cheap way for Bud Selig and the rest of ownership to scout foreign players and I am hating on the fact that the media builds the damn thing up when they couldn't tell you when it started two fecking days ago.

And as far as the Jews go, Selig is a Jew, and most of the lawyers behind baseball are jews so trust me, if they can make a penny off of it, they will back it and ride it straight into the ground.

I love baseball, it was the first sport I played growing up. What pissesme off is the fact that you can't find kids playing ball in fields anymore and then we wonder why wehave fallen behind the other countries in "our" sport. In the Dominican you can't go down the street without seeing kids in a field taping up old baseballs and bats and gloves to just get a game on. You can go anywhere in the far East without seeing kids playing baseball. however in the U.S. the closest kids come to playing baseball now days is if it is on a PS3 or an XBox 360. So before we start bitching about how it is our game and the rest of the world should bow before us, maybe we should get our fat lazy kids off their asses and outside to play.

wow, this thread has gone down hill into a tampon laced cat fight. I say get over it and watch the Hardy baseball from some of the best teams to take the field ever. Im pulling for japan again

I think this tourinment should be the real world series. All of the world leauges should play their seasons and the teams should go into this tourinment Just like the Little leauges and play the "Real WS".

I think the Neatherlands team in awesome. If an Island is owned by them why not. BUT by that train of thought the Purto Rico Team should be the US team.
