He was doing his job. you can't fault him for that.
As far as that Zach Thomas wife thinggy, I would have done the same thing too. Wait until this time to report it, not to get on tv, but to kick a man while he is down.

Doing your job is one thing.
Pulling someone over in front of a hospital (obviously means they were on their way there in the first place) and denying them to go inside and see a dying family member is another thing.
Moats just wanted the cop to understand that his mother in law was dying and he felt he acted responsible enough to make sure no traffic was coming before going thru the red light. Hell in my town some red lights last for 5 or 10 minutes at 2 am. I don't blame Moats, although he did commit a traffic infraction.
Yet, I don't think it warranted pulling out a gun and screaming at his wife.
As for the high school team that got a penalty for the uniform, like Kev, I think this is the dumbest thing ever. my high school once got T'ed up for of all things, a hearing aid. Apparently the other school though the hearing aids we were wearing were some type of high tech device to steal the other teams plays (absurd eh?)
I believe they got t'd because the team they were playing against probably knew they couldn't win so they complained about the tiniest rule in the book.
Kinda like Marcus against me (rim shot) lol

Maybe i'm playing Devils advocate here but....
Wouldnt it have just been easier to pull over for a second tell the officer what was going on, and MOST people would have just escorted him to the hospital and instead of 13 minutes it would be maybe 2 minutes. By the book, the cop did do his job, regardless of where the person was going, you refuse to stop for the police, when you finally do your going to have a lot more problems then you would if you just took a minute to pull over.
Of course I agree the officer overreacted, and was just playing devils Advocate, but the officer shouldnt lose his job either seeing as though he did everything by the book with the exception of pulling the gun.
