Tiger Woods is a true champion.
Kobe Bryant is a bitch
Shaka Sho'Nuff is a Shogun. . . a Samurai. . . a Player SLASH Pimp.
Seriously, Tiger showed me something today after losing the lead, choking on the 1st hole and damn near choking on the 18th to tie the Open up on the final shot and force a playoff on Monday.
Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant blew it with me (not that I liked him to begin with) after they blew the big lead the other night and he went off on his teammates when he himself went 6-19. How the hell do you toss blame around when you yourself barely shoot 30% and walk off the court with 3 seconds left in the game like your name was Bill Bellicheck?
In summary, Tiger a champion.
Kobe a bitch
Kingpin a Crime Lord
O'Malley an Irish Mic I am starting to enjoy
Rob Blondie a prima dona
Marcus T a wanna be Crime Lord who looks like Choir Boy from The Five Heartbeats
Shaka Sho'Nuff a Shogun. . . Samurai. . . Player SLASH Pimp.
Have a good week everyone.

I'm still waiting for Michael Jordan to come back again--as far as kobe goes.
Tiger was awesome yesterday, let alone today. Yesterday's 2 eagles were fabulous.

I was impressed after watching him blow #1 again and then shanking the tee shot on 18 ghen hitting his second shot into the bunk, his third into the thick rough to come back and then tieing it all up with the putt he sank that decided to roll around the hole like a bad free throw shot from the ABA days only to fall in. That was classic.
Kobe has never impressed me. Maybe it is his attitude because he has the talent. I just think he thinks too much of himself and that is why he will never be like Mike. Just my opinion though.

Kobe will NEVER be MJ.....I'm sick of idiots comparing him to MJ.....MJ would NOT have allowed a 24 pt comeback....MJ would NOT have been happy with his teammates performance if they played like the lakers did the last 2 games.
Kobe is NOT the best player alive either, I don't care what anyone says, Kobe is NOT as good as everyone thinks he is, Paul Pierce proved that on Friday when he guarded Kobe like white on rice. The majority of NBA defenders allow the mental BS of "kobe is the best" to bother them and thats why he's able to get around most guys.
Lakers are LUCKY they got the win last night, I'm pretty sure 2 of the refs were in the Laker's back pocket, 3 of KG's fouls were NOT fouls, and more times than I can count, a Celt went to the hoop and got fouled and there was a no call....that "steal" at the end was an OBVIOUS foul, Kobe never touched the ball and shoved Pierce pretty good....I'm glad the series is back in Boston, they deserve to celebrate at home anyway.
Kobe...IS...a WHINY bitch, most of the night he was whining about this or that and 90% of the time there was nothing to whine about....play the game bitch, and remember, Like MVP would say, BOSTON's BETTER THAN YOU!

You are dead on Katutui. Chris Paul should have been the MVp and not Kobe. Kobe scores what he does because he shoots 90% of the Lakers shots. yes, that is over inflated on my half, but you know what I am saying.
He bitched for a trade before the season and now all of the sudden he is a team player? Wait till they get beat for the Championship and see what he says. he will demand this, that and this or he will want a trade. I wish him and jason Kidd were not even on the Olympic Team and probably D-Wade too, but his is because of injury. To be honest, i wish we would go back to letting our college kids go to the Olympics and let them experience the excitement. Hell, they would at least appreciate it more.

I like how you fellas dibble and dabble threw the would haves, should have, could haves. If Chris Paul should have he would have.
But he didn't.
Let's focus on more important stuff like... who got their team to the finals? Not Chris Paul.
When Kobe is not the dominant scorer, who do they have to pick up the slack... hmmm.. I dln't know, let's check the recent performance in the NBA finals... oh yea... there it is... right there... NO BODY!
When he kicks it to the open men, the open don't make the open baskets. Kobe is forced to do what he does cause there is no other option.
I don't think he is trying to be Jordan, he is forced into that shadow due to the fact that everyone is looking for the next jordan.
Jordan was a great compeditor but he was not the greatest (I remember when I was in sixth grade. I told a sophmore in High school the same thing and he and his brother jumped me for it.)
And let's not talk about cry babbies, when the biggest drama queen on the court at the moment is Paul Pierce. The way he acts when he gets fouled you would think he was Divac back in 2001 against the Lakers... here you go Pierce, I'll take your dignity in return for a Oscar award.
Also, as far as the mental BS... Maybe they should try to practice as much as Kobe, so they can have more confience in their skills to defend Kobe... Kobe does it.
On the final note, Kobe may or may not be the best on the court, but he is the best at what he does... GETTING THE JOB DONE!!
Garnett could never do it by himself, or with Sprewell and Cassell. Pierce... come one now, do we really need to go there? Allen? He had the nerve to call out Kobe one time, he should stay in place. He could not win player of the year in the movie "he got game." a movie he stared in let a lone, win anyting like a finals title by himself, such as what Kobe is attempting to do.
Did he bitch about his team? You damn right! When I'm practicing my ass off in the off season and I come back to the same shit and worse players than the year before, I will speak up. He is not wrong for that I applaud him for it! Look what happen whe he did it... they make it to the finals. With out Shaq.
I vote for him on the U.S.A team cause let's face it... out side of Tim Duncan who else is going to play defense? Jason Kidd?
Everyone want's to hate Kobe, cause they think he is a bit arrogant. It is not arrogant when you can back it up. Outside Tim Duncan and maaaaaaaaybe Chris Paul... If I was to start a team I would choose Kobe. Tim is getting a bit old, and he is showing it as of late... Chris Paul has only give us ONE!!! Great season... Kevin Garnett is the NBA's greatest underachiever of all time.

Kobe hasn't done it by himself yet and Kobe is a jackass prima donna. Anyone who walks out on his team with three seconds to go is in it for himself and doesnt give a rats ass about his team.
The olympics should be what it was created to be and that is a competition for people who are not professional atheletes. They screwed that when the US got a big head and felt the need to put pros in the game after losing back in the 80s. Although it was cool to watch the original and only Dream Team walk over people like they were not even there.
Kobe a cry baby, Pierce a cry baby, Dirk a cry baby and the list goes on and on. Tim Duncan is probably the biggest one of them all. If he spent as much time getting down the court as he did crying about a foul that was not called, he would probably have five more rebounds a game and one or two blocks more a game. Bottom line, this game is not what it was in the 80s and early 90s and that is sad.
Give me a guy that is undersized and yet leads the league in rebounds because he has heart and refuses to get beat. Give me a guy that will hit the 2 to seal the game with the come from behind victory on the other team's hostile court. Give me the guy that plays thru an injury because the game means more to him than a damn shoe endorsement. I am all for people making their money, but the atheletes today have no heart and I know you have to agree with that Marcus.
Bottom line is the good days of professional sports is long gone and we really have nothing to enjoy. Although Tiger gave u someting this weekend that was worthy to be watched.

Arrogance is arrogance whether you can back it up or not. But when Kobe says, "I can score at will" and then drops a 6-19 shooting night . . . he's arrogant.
With that being said . . . Kobe is the same Kobe he has been all season. You can say what you want, the guy is tough and if not the best player in the world he is without a doubt in the Top 5. Truth of the matter is, the Celtics are just playing better team ball right now and yes, I think the Lakers as a whole have a confidence problem.
Don't give me the, "Kobe complains about everything" bit. Did you even watch Jordan play? Not only did he get 90% of the calls, but he complained when he didn't get the other 10%. With THAT being said . . . MJ might not be the GREATEST, but he is without a doubt in the Top 5. Odd, I feel like I just said that.

Hold on. Hold on. Don't bring Garnett into this.
First of all, Kobe didn't do anything by himself this year.
Looks like someone forgot REAL quick how Kobe was ready to QUIT earlier this year. He cried and cried until he got his way and they brought in the next great white hope in Pau Gasol.
Then he all of the sudden had the balls to be a real man.
Kobe is just like every other superstar. no one does it alone.
Not even Jordan.

Yes, Kobe is like anyone else in professional sports. What I am saying is I just miss the days of greatness that seem to be long gone. I miss the drive within an athlete simply refusing to lose. Here are some videos of what I am talking about. Reggie Miller scoring 8 points in the final 8 seconds against the Knicks in the Garden to lead the Pacers over the Knicks in a playoff game. youtube.com/watch?v=jrlAj-wXTuEBo Jackson was another one I put in here. His career may have been cut short, but name me another person who played in the Pro Bowl and a baseball All-Star game in the same year. This guy had the chance to be something great had his career lasted longer than just three years. Wait until about the 1:13 mark when it shows a clip of him catching a fly ball and the literally walking the fence. it is amazing. youtube.com/watch?v=TLGADNEeb50&feature=relatedBob Gibson struck out 17 batters in a World Series game and ended up pitching 3 games in the series. Gibson came into the Series with a stunning regular-season Earned Run Average of just 1.12, and he would pitch complete games in Games 1, 4, and 7. He was the winning pitcher in Games 1 and 4. In Game 1, he threw a shutout, striking out 17 batters, besting Sandy Koufax's 1963 record by 2, and which still stands as the World Series record. In Game 4, a solo home run by Jim Northrup was the only offense the Tigers were able to muster, as Gibson struck out 10 batters. In Game 7, Gibson was defeated by series MVP Mickey Lolich, allowing three runs on four straight hits in the decisive 7th inning, although the key play was a triple that was seemingly misplayed by Flood in center field which could have been the third out with no runs scoring. youtube.com/watch?v=ixTNIFlBJZQProbably my favorite sporting moment of all-time was the Hagler vs Hearns fight known as the 3 Rounds of Hell. these two guys laid it all out on the line that night and was the greatest thing I had ever seen. That and the miracle on ice. I consider myself lucky enough to have been old enough to see both of those events and to understand what was going on at that time. Yep, I am old, but with age comes a chance to see things that others would have missed. youtube.com/watch?v=L9ZO-fuFDkQ&feature=relatedyoutube.com/watch?v=CGACsSW4Iqw&feature=related

I am no prima dona!!!!!! I am nothing like Kobe because I can actually get the job done!!!!! Also, I don't sexually assault women in hotels...why do you really need the room when you have the limo? Furthermore, I would never buy a guady ring for a current wife....everyone knows you only buy the ring for the girl you assaulted to keep her quiet!
